FAQ
Do you arrange accommodation?
Yes. We shortlist university dorms, private residences or shared flats to your budget and guide you through contracts and deposits.
Can I pay tuition in instalments?
Most universities let you pay per semester (two instalments). Some also offer early-registration discounts — we confirm the details before you apply.
How much is the monthly cost of living?
It depends on the city: €600-900 in Warsaw or Budapest, €450-650 in cities like Lublin or Szeged. See our city pages for current ranges.
Which documents does the student visa require?
The core documents are your admission letter, passport, health insurance, proof of accommodation and proof of funds. We prepare a personalised checklist for country-specific extras.
What if I have no English certificate?
Many universities run a foundation year, and several accept their own English entrance test instead of IELTS/TOEFL.
Is the consultation paid?
Your first consultation is completely free. We listen to your goals, clarify suitable programs and budgets, and share our transparent package pricing in the same call.
Which countries does Velantra work with?
We focus on Poland and Hungary, working with more than 25 partner universities offering English-taught programs in both countries.
How long does the application take?
It varies by university and program, but once your documents are ready an admission letter typically arrives within 2-6 weeks. Including the visa appointment, plan for 2-4 months in total.
