Silesian University of Technology is a state technical university in Poland, founded in 1945. Its main campus is in Gliwice, with further units in Katowice and Zabrze.
Teaching is built around engineering, informatics, power engineering and transport. The university's 2026 bachelor list for foreign candidates includes 12 English-taught programmes.
The engineering programmes on that list include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Geoengineering and Raw Materials Extraction, and Management and Production Engineering.
